What If I Do? (DaveXTay SLASH)

"Hey Dave?"

"Hm."

"Do...you love me?"

       Dave was caught off guard. He froze and tried to pretend he didn't hear him, "What?"

Taylor repeated, adding emphasis, "Do you love me?"

       Dave bit the inside of his cheek. Sure, he and Taylor and fooled around and made out, but he never thought too hard about why. He hated real emotions. All that 'lovey-dovey' shit.... It just wasn't his thing.

He turned to look at Taylor and found him looking back. His blonde locks were in his face in some places and sticking up in others. It was silly little imperfections like that that made him so.... Dave couldn't describe it. He just laid there smiling up at the cute little blonde.

"....Dave?"

Without a word Dave got up and walked out of the room.

Taylor was dumbfounded. Was Dave upset with him? Should he have not asked him about his feelings? Maybe he pried too much. Taylor knew how Dave could be about this kind of stuff...

Just as Taylor got up to leave, Dave came back with something hidden behind his back. As soon as the door clicked shut Dave ran and jumped on the bed next to Taylor, startling him a bit, and kissed him softly on the lips. Taylor blushed and smiled, "What was that for?"

Dave placed what was behind his back in front of Taylor's eyes. Taylor took it in his hands and examined it. It was a flower. A beautiful soft pink tulip.

Taylor gasped softly, "Oh man... Dave, it's..."

Dave pulled back the hair from Taylor's face and whispered, "I do."
